Over 2,000 years ago, the first Girok took power on Giran. He decided that he wanted to expand the empire that he had already started. Having eliminated all competition on his homeworld, he turned his armies on other worlds. Three men who rivaled his power decided to put a stop to this expansion. Two of them were Zachariath, founder of the neutrals, along with his former-nomad apprentice Otton Xabar. The third was Xalin, of the hidden paradise world where fighting is a sport, and nothing more. They joined up and came to be known as the First Twei. They managed to kill that first Girok, but not before he expanded his empire. His empire stood, even in his absence. Soon after Girok's death, the First Twei wrote a prophecy stating that in 2,000 years, a new Twei would rise and defeat Girok once and for all, and, since then, Girok has returned many times, but there have always been heroes to stop him. Now, the time of the final Twei has come. . .
